Care and Description

Description

This elegant hand woven cotton saree from the North Karnataka is enriched with their traditional 'Gadi- Dadi' design for the border. Natural dyes extracted from the bountiful nature of the Western Ghats like indigo, nilgiri, arecanut and pomegranate peels are used in creating this work of art.

Care

Before washing the garment for the first time, soak it in salt water for about three hours to help the fabric retain the colour. Use mild detergents. Cold machine wash separately in dissolved detergent. Do not bleach. Line dry on reverse. Do not tumble dry. Warm iron on reverse if required.
