Care and Description


Apart from the deepness of the maroon, the beautiful jewel neckline is ornamented with mirror work. Cap sleeves and the inverted pleat in the front make it the perfect emsemble that can be dressed up or down.


Cold machine wash separately in dissolved detergent. Do not bleach. Do not soak. Line dry on the reverse. Do not tumble dry. Warm iron on reverse if required.

Meet the community partner


This product was made with the support of two of our community partners - Chitrika and Porgai. The handloom kurtas were procured from Chitrika. Chitrika promotes self-managed and self-sustaining business institutions of artisans, primarily handloom weavers, currently in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Chitrika believes in positioning the producer-artisan at the core of business enterprise. The hand embroidery on the product was done by artisans from the Porgai Artisans Association, an initiative in the Sittilingi Valley of Tamil Nadu.
