Care and Description

A beautiful handloom creation of jute and cotton. This duffel bag comes in a lovely denim blue shade, stylised with colorful weaving in the center. Comfortable to carry, spacious with an inner lining of cotton and finished edges with colorful embroidery. It has leather straps, one pocket in front, and a zipper opening.

Hand wash the bag in cold water. The leather becomes soft and shiny with use. If the bag is not being used regularly, apply little oil on the leather at regular intervals.

Unnati Rural Development Society

Unnati works with village women in Belagum district, North Karnataka. One village centre has the looms where the jute cotton handloom cloth is woven and another village has the stitching centre. Belgaum is a rain-fed arid area, where agricultural income is seasonal. The women rely on the craft for supplementary income.
